I like all things creative – whether drawing or writing – the latter of which I’m pursuing at Ryerson University in the Journalism undergraduate program.

Originally hailing from the quiet, dark forests of Easton Connecticut, I moved around from place to place as a child with my family before settling into the rainy suburbs of Vancouver, BC.

Now out on my own for the first time in the vast cityscape of Toronto, Ontario – my professional journey and quest for self-fufillment begins.

(Of course, the above is from my about.me profile and is makes me sounds like I’m somewhat motivated, which is rarely the case).

I’ve had multiple blogs and sites in the past, most of them about video games. I even had a podcast once! This site is actually built off of my previous blog, Teenage Mutant Gamer Pony, which – past the dumb name – was just too niche for my liking. Turns out, I’m a consumer of all kinds of different media, so it didn’t make sense to limit myself to My Little Pony, video games, and Ninja Turtles (all three being staples of a healthy lifestyle, by the way).

I’ve blogged on and off in the past, but I find that I always come right back to it at some point. I’m always thinking about this kind of stuff, so getting it out of my head and onto a digital page is cathartic to say the least. Plus now that I’m in school for journalism, I want to get back into writing so I can re-connect with my own voice again. It’s a win-win!

Favorite foods: Burritos, pizza (especially New York Style, which has no presence in Vancouver at all, sadly), sandwiches (Subway, Quiznos – s’all good!), sushi (still not big on raw fish though), salads, cereal (Lucky Charms, bitches!).

Favorite video games: I’d list ’em out, but honestly it’s easier to just go here since I constantly play through games that really impress me and become instant favorites.

Favorite shows: Kenny Vs Spenny, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987, 2003, and now the 2012 Nick series), Elfen Lied, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Rugrats, My Little Pony: FiM, Ed Edd n’ Eddy, The Simpsons, Tales from the Crypt, Seinfeld, Breaking Bad

Favorite musical genres: Hip-Hop, Rock, Rap, Alternative, Electronic, Soundtrack
